New Scope and Camera coming soon

We ordered the Nikon Fieldscope 25-75x82 ED straight body and am expecting it on Monday.  After a bit of checking around and looking at Ryan Shaws flicker account (TY Ryan!) we ordered the Nikon coolpix P5000.  It is not the best,but a good start up camera for me. Dennis Paulson also sent me some great shots from his Nikon D70, but my husband didn't want to mess with returning the bracket already on it's way here.

Plus being a novice to cameras, it is probably better for me to start with this and MAYBE work my way up to a better camera.

 Eventually I will be able to have my own pics as I don't  wish to violate copyright on others pictures.
